Jim Malle

Director of Policy

Jim Malle oversees Aligned's legislative and advocacy initiatives in Missouri, bringing over a decade of experience in public policy, economic development, and government affairs. He began his career in the Jackson County Executive's Office, advising the County Executive and negotiating large-scale commercial real estate tax incentive projects in collaboration with local and state legislators.

Jim later worked as the Strategic Initiatives Manager for the Economic Development Corporation of Kansas City, leading the LaunchKC program, which attracted over 100 global startups and secured funding for accelerator programs.

As Director of Government Affairs at Ygrene Energy Fund, Jim managed national lobbying efforts to expand clean energy financing across 27 states. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a focus on financial markets from Rockhurst University and has served on multiple economic development boards, including the Kansas City Tax Increment Financing Commission and the Enhanced Enterprise Zone Board.
